SOLID INTENSE GOLD

STEP 1

Determine the natural level you are starting from

 • It is important to determine the natural level you are starting from.

 • If the level falls between two levels, always choose the darker one.

 • Analyze the texture and porosity of the hair

• Hair is at a natural level 8-4

• Be sure to adjust your formula volume of developer needed based on the natural level of hair

STEP 2

Determine the level you wish to achieve and the volume developer needed

• Maximum lightening is 4 levels with permanent colour

 • Lifting more then 2 levels will always expose natural warmth

• The level determined to achieve for this look is 3-5

 • 20 volume developer is needed for this look

STEP 3

Determine the tone wish to achieve for this look

 • When lifting, remember that the final hair colouring result is a combination of the artificial colour molecules and the natural underlying pigmentation of the hair

• The tone desired for this look is warm
